Spire Missouri residential customers who have a household income at or below 200% of the federal poverty level may qualify for our Payment Partner Program. If qualified, customers will receive a monthly bill credit of $35 and receive help with past-due balances.

Under Spire's rate schedules and clauses tariff, customers eligible for transportation service are:
Qualifying transportation customers will be added on a first-come, first-served basis up to a maximum of 150 customers statewide per year, but not less than 50 customers (if more than 50 customers apply and qualify for such service). However, in any year, if Spire Missouri determines that it is feasible to convert more customers than specified above, we will do so on a first-come, first-served basis.

The amount we pay others for the purchase, transportation and storage of natural gas. This cost is passed on to you with no mark up.
This is a measure of the amount of gas used in hundreds of cubic feet.
You may see a line item on your monthly Spire bill labeled "gross receipts tax", "franchise fee" or something similar. Taxes are defined by the specific area and while they are collected on your bill, Spire pays them directly to the municipality with no markup.
