Commercial class change

If you manage a commercial natural gas account, you may have received the below message on this month's bill:

We've conducted our required, yearly review of your gas usage. As a result, we're changing you to a new customer rate class for your natural gas service. Your new rate is effective now and reflected on this bill. Go to SpireEnergy.com/GS-Rates to learn more.

Information for potential transportation customers
What is a transportation customer?

Under Spire's rate schedules and clauses tariff, customers eligible for transportation service are:

  • Commercial or industrial customers in western Missouri whose annual usage exceeds 30,000 Ccf in the preceding calendar year, and
  • Schools receiving transportation service under the Experimental School Transportation tariff schedule
How can my business become a transportation customer?

Qualifying transportation customers will be added on a first-come, first-served basis up to a maximum of 150 customers statewide per year, but not less than 50 customers (if more than 50 customers apply and qualify for such service). However, in any year, if Spire Missouri determines that it is feasible to convert more customers than specified above, we will do so on a first-come, first-served basis.
