Serving as senior accountant for the Spire marketing team since 2008, Michelle is responsible for all transportation, wholesale, financial and agency/asset management accounting. She also manages account payables, receivables and risk metrics.

Michelle began her career with Spire in 1989 as a corporate accountant in Financial Reporting. In 1995, she became assistant manager of meter reading. In 1996, she joined the Gas Supply Group as the gas supply accountant and later senior gas supply accountant.

Michelle’s strength in the industry lies in accounting, problem solving and more than twenty years of experience in the natural gas accounting field. Her career spans both the regulated and unregulated environments of the natural gas business, which deepens her knowledge of all financial aspects of the business.

Michelle received her bachelor’s degree in accounting and business administration with a minor in economics from Westminster College in Fulton, Mo.
