Spire partners with the Urban League to host virtual career fair on March 18
The energy provider is hiring for nearly 40 customer-focused positions
ST. LOUIS (March 11, 2021) — Spire is partnering with the Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis, Inc. to hire nearly 40 new employees during a virtual career fair on Thursday, March 18, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. During the career fair, the natural gas company will interview potential candidates for customer service roles with competitive pay and benefits.
To be considered for a virtual interview, applicants must send resumes to LmccLain@urbanleague-stl.org by March 16. A high school diploma or the equivalent is required. Qualified applicants will be contacted for a virtual interview with a Spire representative on March 18.
“Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have had to identify innovative ways to recruit talent,” said Mark Darrell, Spire senior vice president, chief legal and compliance officer, and Urban League board member. “For many years, we have been supporting the great work of the Urban League—a highly respected resource to the St. Louis region for more than a century. Their participation in this event is instrumental to helping us identify and engage diverse, exceptional talent from this community.”
The Urban League is working with Spire to identify qualified applicants for the career fair.
