A year in review of serving Alabama’s communities

Serving our communities is at the heart of what we do, and 2023 was another wonderful year for our Spire Serves program in Alabama and the Gulf Coast area.

Over the course of the year, we supported:

  • More than 40 organizations with financial donations
  • More than 30 organizations with volunteer hours

Which resulted in:

  • Close to 5,400 volunteer hours
  • ...from nearly 560 employee volunteers

Spire volunteers shared their time and talents in many ways, including through:

  •  teddy bear clinics bringing smiles to hospitalized children
  • maintenance work at community organizations
  • food drives to nourish the hungry
  • reading to children and supporting literacy
